From a small frontier principality in Anatolia, the house of Osman begins a state that will last six centuries.
Osman Ghazi led one of many Turkish frontier bands in the wake of the Mongol storms. His descendants built an order of remarkable endurance, blending Turkic, Persian, Arab and Byzantine inheritances. At its height the Ottoman state spanned three continents and guarded the holy cities for four centuries.

قاد عثمان الغازي إحدى إمارات الثغور التركية بعد عواصف المغول. وبنى أبناؤه نظامًا فريد الصلابة، مزج مواريث الترك وفارس والعرب وبيزنطة. وامتدت الدولة في أوجها عبر ثلاث قارات وخدمت الحرمين أربعة قرون.
