A movement rising from Khurasan replaces the Umayyads with the Abbasid dynasty, turning the face of the empire eastward.
Carrying black banners from Khurasan, the Abbasid movement gathered Arabs and Persians alike under the call for the family of the Prophet ﷺ. Their victory in 750 ended Umayyad rule in the east and began five centuries of Abbasid caliphate under which Islamic civilization reached extraordinary heights of learning.

حركة تنطلق من خراسان تُبدل الأمويين بالدولة العباسية، فتتجه الدولة شرقًا.
بحمل الرايات السود من خراسان جمعت الدعوة العباسية العرب والفرس تحت شعار الرضا من آل البيت. أنهى انتصارهم عام ٧٥٠ حكم الأمويين في المشرق، وابتدأ خمسة قرون من الخلافة العباسية بلغت فيها الحضارة الإسلامية ذرى فريدة في العلم.
