The Battle of Badr

Around three hundred believers face a far larger Makkan force at the wells of Badr and prevail.
In Ramadan of the second year after the Hijrah, a small and lightly equipped Muslim force met the army of Quraysh at Badr. Their victory against the odds strengthened the young community and is honored in the Quran as a day of decisive clarity, Yawm al Furqan.

نحو ثلاثمئة من المؤمنين يواجهون جيشًا مكيًا يفوقهم عددًا عند آبار بدر فينتصرون.
في رمضان من السنة الثانية للهجرة، التقت قوة مسلمة قليلة العدد والعتاد بجيش قريش عند بدر. كان نصرهم رغم قلة العدد تثبيتًا للمجتمع الناشئ، وقد سماه القرآن يوم الفرقان.
