In the cave of Hira, the angel Jibril brings the first verses of the Quran: Read, in the name of your Lord.
During his retreats in the cave of Hira on Jabal al Nur, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ received the first revelation through the angel Jibril, beginning with the command Iqra, read. This moment opened twenty three years of revelation that would become the Quran, and it marks the beginning of the message of Islam.
بدء الوحي
في غار حراء يأتي جبريل عليه السلام بأول آيات القرآن: اقرأ باسم ربك.
في خلواته بغار حراء في جبل النور، نزل الوحي على النبي محمد ﷺ بواسطة جبريل عليه السلام، مبتدئًا بكلمة اقرأ. فتح هذا اللحظةُ ثلاثًا وعشرين سنة من الوحي الذي صار القرآن الكريم، وهي بداية رسالة الإسلام.
